The Ukrainian League of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (ULIE) is Ukraine's largest union of business organizations and economic agents of all forms and types from big vertically integrated corporations to small- and medium-sized businesses. The League's history began on February 15, 1992.

The ULIE sees its mission in promoting the ideas of economic patriotism, development of favorable business climate among the business community, civil society and the government. It also stands up for versatile and effective support for domestic producers.

The League has 28 regional offices, 73 branches, 22 representative offices and 34 commissions for various issues. Among its partners are more than 100 non-government organizations, including the Ukrainian Chemists Union, the associations of international road carriers, Mebliderevprom, Ukroilprom and Ukrlehprom associations, the Association of Winegrowers and Winemakers of Ukraine, the League of Oil Producers of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation, the International Anti-Terrorism Unity Organization, etc.

The Anti-Crisis Council of Non-Governmental Organizations works under the aegis of the League. The council incorporates more than 80 nationwide organizations that have agreed to elaborate an economic bailout plan urgently, inform the government and the parliament about it and supervise its implementation.

The ULIE safeguards businessmen against bureaucratic lawlessness, ungrounded charges of fiscal and supervisory agencies, infringement on rights and interests when dealing with the government and unfair partners. It also provides businessmen with legal support by consulting and drawing up claims and lawsuits.

President of the ULIE is former Prime Minister of Ukraine Anatoliy Kinakh.
