Prykhodko Ihor Vladlenovych was born in Potsdam, Germany on April 5, 1965. He got a degree in electronics engineering at Odesa Order of the Red Banner of Labor Polytechnic Institute. His career began in 1987 from the position of junior research fellow at Odesa Polytechnic Institute.

His career lasted for a total of 23 years. He has vast experience of work with people. He worked at Prymorsky District Committee of the Leninist Young Communist League in Odesa, a junior research fellow, an assistant at a department of Odesa Polytechnic Institute, deputy director of the Ornikoimpeks foreign trade company, director of joint venture Pashcomplex. From October 1996, he works as director general of the Union Corporation.

Under the leadership of Prykhodko and with his personal participation the employees of the corporation tackle difficult tasks for the promotion of Ukrainian machine building products to the CIS markets. He initiated the creation of the East Association for Business Cooperation, which united efforts of Ukrainian machine building enterprises for the promotion of their products on the markets of the CIS Central Asian region, in particular within international agreements.

Prykhodko has the following government awards: the Order for Merits of the 3rd degree (2008), letters of acknowledgement from the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, certificate of honor from the State Committee of Ukraine for Regulatory Policy and Entrepreneurship (2004). He also was presented with an honorary prize from Odesa Mayor for Merits to the City (2009).
