Степанкова Тетяна Михайлівна
ULIE Vice President, Deputy Chairwoman of Public Association "Ukrainian-German Forum," honored economist of Ukraine, Candidate of Economic Sciences
Stepankova Tetiana Mykhailivna was born in Lutsk, Volyn region. She got a degree in economy at Kyiv National Economic Institute. Her career started at the computation center of the State Planning Committee of Ukraine.
She has solid experience of work for state agencies on the positions of head of department at the State Planning Committee of Ukraine, state expert of the State Council for Economic Policy, adviser to the deputy prime minister and prime minister of Ukraine, and deputy minister.
In 2003, Stepankova became ULIE vice president and deputy chairwoman of the Ukrainian-German Forum public association. The forum initiates international public events in the priority spheres of Ukrainian economy: housing and utility, energy efficient construction, development of alternative energy and modernization of export-oriented spheres of Ukrainian economy on the basis of energy efficiency. Ukrainian-German Forum supports the implementation of numerous pilot programs and projects, coordinates the introduction of the development program for transit potential between East and West (between Europe and China via the historic Silk Road), intermodal and multimodal connections across the territory of Ukraine.
She applies every effort to develop cooperation between Ukraine and Germany and Ukraine and Europe. Bilateral and multilateral initiatives based on public and economic diplomacy and state-private partnership lay a good basis for decision making on the level of official diplomacy.
