ULIE Vice President, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of MT-Invest

Tabakharniuk Myroslav Oleksandrovych was born on April 25, 1962. He got a degree in mining engineering at Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas. And later he got a degree in corporate management. During his career he successfully united social and political activities with the development and management of his own business.

In 1990, he created and headed commercial and technical company Krok in Ivano-Frankivsk, which in 1995 developed into multi-industrial Holding Company Krok Ltd. and today it operates in the sphere of grain and oil-plant export and wholesale of agriculture products on the home market.

Tabakharniuk chaired the advisory and consultative council of entrepreneurs under the regional governor, held the position of first vice president of Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Council of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. In 2008, he was appointed as vice president of the Ukrainian League of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.

In 2002, he moved to Kyiv and took the position of director at Agrotex Ltd. He was appointed as director of Ukravtogas, a department of Ukrtransgas, a subsidiary of National JSC Naftogaz of Ukraine in 2005. In April 2007, he was appointed as director general of CJSC Ukrvtorchormet. Later he founded his own company MT-Invest, which operates on the market of merger and acquisition and its core business includes sale and production of ready-made businesses and attracting financial or strategic investors to its clients.

As ULIE vice president, Tabakharniuk takes active part in the creation of various social and civil projects aimed at the development of cooperation between Ukrainian and foreign investors and improvement of business environment in Ukraine.

He won the prize of the Leaders of Business-97 all-Ukrainian image-building program and he was a nominee in the international rating Golden Fortune-2000. He also has the title of the Entrepreneur of Decade of the regional level and an Honorary Award of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Golden Mark-Mercury. He was presented with a certificate from the State Committee of Ukraine for Regulatory Policy and Entrepreneurship and a letter of acknowledgement from the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. In 2012, Tabakharniuk was awarded with the title of the Honored Economist of Ukraine.

He is the author of more than 15 research publications and co-author of two books about management. In 2005, he defended his thesis entitled "System administration of motivation processes for corporate personnel." In 2012, Tabakharniuk published his book entitled "A Game for a Million: Practice of Mergers and Acquisitions in Ukraine."
