Тараненко Артем Олександрович

Taranenko Artem Oleksandrovych was born in a family of diplomats in Kyiv in 1969. He got a degree in international law and interpreting at the Ukrainian Institute of International Relations under Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. His career started from the position of interpreter at joint venture Forpost.

He has a wealth of experience of work for state agencies of all levels. In 1999, he was appointed as adviser to the first deputy prime minister of Ukraine. In 2001, he worked as adviser to the prime minister of Ukraine. From November 2002 until February 2005, he held the position of deputy head of the Council of Entrepreneurs under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. In 2005, he headed the service of the first deputy prime minister of Ukraine. In October 2005 through September 2006 he headed the service of the secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine. In 2007, he was appointed as head of the department of advisers at the department in charge of organization of work of the economy minister. In 2008 he held the position of director general for organizational and legal issues at the Boryspil International Airport.

He became vice president of the Ukrainian League of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs in 2005. At the ULIE, he was involved in the elaboration of laws and regulations and discussion of innovative projects. He also contributed to the development of Ukraine's foreign economic contacts.
