Taranenko Nina Ivanivna

Vice President of the Ukrainian League of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (from 2014)

Taranenko Nina Ivanivna was born in Oleksandrivka, Kirovohrad region on August 22, 1962. She graduated from Kirovohrad Agriculture Institute with a degree in mechanical engineering in 1984. She got a degree in economy and sociology at Dnipropetrovsk State University in 1990.

In 1996, she got a master's degree in public administration at the National Academy for Public Administration under the President of Ukraine.

From 1984 until 1987 she worked on the positions of deputy head on material and technical support and economist at Ustynivska and Oleksandrivska agricultural equipment enterprises in Kirovohrad region.

In 1987-1988, she worked as energy engineer for Oleksandrivka District Community of Consumer Cooperatives in Kirovohrad region and senior accountant and senior engineer at Oleksandrivka complex enterprise Kirovohradbud.

She was appointed as chief engineer at the labor and wage department in Kirovakan (renamed Vanadzor), Armenia in 1989.

From 1991 until 1997, she worked as an instructor at organizing department, head of secretariat, consultant on work of the councils of people's deputies, headed the department on the rights of minors and the department on family and youth issues at Oleksandrivka District State Administration in Kirovohrad region.

She also worked as deputy head of the department on family and youth issues at Kirovohrad Regional State Administration for one year.

In 1998 through 2007, she worked as chief consultant at the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Fuel and Energy Complex, Nuclear Policy and Nuclear Safety as well as consulting assistant to a people's deputy of Ukraine.

In 2007, she was appointed as the head of the department in charge of organization of work of the minister at the Economy Ministry of Ukraine. She also worked as consulting assistant to a people's deputy of Ukraine from 2007 until 2014.
