On the occasion of the 400th anniversary of National University Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, the Ukrainian publishing houses presented a number of books for the library of the Academy. This event was organized by Vice President of the Ukrainian League of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Denys Krasnikov, who is a graduate of the academy.
From now on students, library visitors will be able to widen their knowledge with the help of modern literature of economic, social and journalistic genres.
In particular, they can read manuals and journalistic essays on historical and empirical issues that are urgent for Ukraine. There are books such as "State Information Policy" by Yuriy Nesterenko, "Combating Crime in Ukraine" by Olena Busol, scientific studies 'The Maidan and the Church" prepared by the National Academy of Sciences, "Ukraine between East and West" prepared by Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and many others.
"This is of significant importance for students and teaching staff, since a key factor of the top-quality training of graduates should be the availability of modern and relevant sources from which one can learn useful knowledge," Denys Krasnikov said.
The ULIE has repeatedly emphasized that Ukraine must maintain and develop its own human capital - an intellectual resource that is in high demand in today's world, especially in developed countries. For this, it is necessary to assist young people and give "first job" preferences, enabling conduction of scientific research and so on.
