The AEOU presented proposals for the restoration of Ukraine during meetings with government representatives of Canada, the US, Japan

The Ukrainian tripartite delegation (government, employers, trade unions) conducted a series of meetings at the Permanent Mission of Canada to the United Nations and other international organizations. The employers' side was represented by the Deputy Chairman of AEOU, Vasyl Kostrytsia. He also delivered a speech at the 111th session of the International Labour Conference in Geneva the day before.

The meeting was attended by government representatives from countries actively supporting and assisting Ukraine, including Canada, the United States, Japan, Italy, France, Lithuania, Germany, Sweden, as well as a representative from the EU Mission. The parties discussed issues of direct support to Ukraine, as well as at the international level (within the UN, ILO).

They also discussed supporting social partners and assisting in the reform of labor legislation in Ukraine to ensure the highest level of labor standards in the legislation. This was emphasized by the Deputy Minister of Labour of Canada.

AEOU closely collaborates with the International Labour Organization (ILO) in this direction. This month marked the completion of a six-month project between AEOU and ILO aimed at enhancing the resilience of Ukrainian businesses during times of martial law.
