The organization has plans to open an office in Kyiv. Also, "Business in OSER" is ready to give an observer status to the Ukrainian League of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
Related procedures will take place in early October in Paris at the meeting of the Board of the Association.
This was discussed during the meeting of ULIE president Anatoliy Kinakh with Hanna Rosenbaum, executive director of "Business in OSER".
Mrs. Rosenbaum said that the Association closely cooperates with all committees and structures in the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), has an impact on its policy as the voice of business. Also cooperation has been established with such powerful international players as the G20 and others.
"The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development joins the discussions regarding the post-war reconstruction plan of Ukraine. We want to provide maximum support for this process. The focus of attention is infrastructure modernization, migration policy, public administration, business cooperation, etc., Hanni Rosenbaum emphasized.
She emphasized that the Association would be honored to cooperate with the ULIE and expressed confidence that the Board of Directors will make the appropriate decision to give the business union of Ukraine observer status.
According to her, this involves participation in the meetings of profile groups.
Anatolii Kinakh noted that Ukraine is interested in the post-war recovery of the economy according to modern European and world standards.
"It is obvious that this will be a public-private partnership format involving international donors. International experience, studying the specifics of the national economies of OSER member states, and adapting the necessary standards and regulations are of great importance," the leader of the business community is convinced.
The parties agreed on constant communications, including preparations for the meeting of the Board of the Association in Paris.
USPP will make every effort to fulfill its mission and priorities, in particular regarding the development of the business and investment climate in Ukraine for the long term.
