One of the key priorities of the Ukrainian League of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (ULIE) in its volunteer efforts is to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine, aid in the rehabilitation of both military personnel and civilians affected by Russian aggression, and strengthen the country’s healthcare system.
This week, humanitarian aid was delivered to the Severodonetsk Multidisciplinary Hospital. Representing the ULIE, the supplies were handed over by Vice President Nina Taranenko, Presidential Advisors Vadym Drobot (also Vice President of the Ukrainian-Arab Business Council) and Mykhailo Novytskyi, as well as businessman Viktor Yaremko. The aid was received by the hospital’s director, Oksana Andreiikiv-Morozova.
The delivery included a wide range of essential medical supplies such as syringes, catheters, absorbent dressings of various sizes, an epidural anesthesia set, and surgical instruments. According to hospital staff, this assistance will not only improve treatment conditions for patients but also help the hospital save funds, which can then be redirected to other critical needs.
“To provide hospitals with what they truly require, we maintain direct communication with medical institutions,” the ULIE emphasized.
Support for Ukrainian medical professionals is also part of the ULIE’s international cooperation agenda. In particular, a joint project with Latvia is underway to facilitate knowledge exchange in the medical field. Several visits by Ukrainian doctors to Riga have already taken place, allowing them to study advanced methods for treating serious conditions and rehabilitation practices.
