Delegation of Ukrainian League of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (ULIE) headed by Mr. Mykhaylo Lukashev, Director of ULIE Representative Office in Qatar, paid working visit to Qatar.
The Ukrainian delegation held negotiations with the first Vice-Chairman of Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mohammed bin Ahmed bin Towar Al Kuwari and Qatari Businessmen Association Chairman Shk. Faisal Bin Qassim Al-Thani who is the owner of largest private industry and investment Faisal Holding. Embassy of Ukraine to Qatar contributed to organization of the meeting.
Qatari representatives were handed over a set of business proposals from Ukrainian companies engaged in construction, metallurgy, IT and agriculture. Besides, the parties discussed joint steps to be taken in the nearest future.
Qatari Chamber of Commerce and Industry expressed its interest in strategic partnership for grain and other foods to be imported from Ukraine to Qatar.
The parties had detailed deliberations on opportunities and ways of development of cooperation between business communities of Ukraine and Qatar and agreed on intense business visits exchange.
Mr. Mykhaylo Lukashev informed that agreement on cooperation is to be signed between ULIE and Qatari Business Association end summer-fall 2019. Similar document is to be signed with Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Mr. Mykhaylo Lukashev passed the gift from Qatari partners to the ULIE President as well as a number of business proposals from Qatar side.
